New Comforts at the Visitor Center

What once looked like just a hill (with a visitor center hidden underneath it) now has a brand new building to greet visitors.

The visitor center has new restrooms with eight stalls, including two for disabled guests. They are open all the time for convenience and there is an outdoor potable water spigot to refill water jugs.

In the middle of the summer one of our visitors was seen sitting beneath this spigot cooling off on a 115 degree day.

The volunteers that staff the visitor center are delighted as well because the first question out of people’s mouths is no longer “where are the restrooms?”
